Had a low of 13 deg F this morning. That is very unusual for here at this time of year. The average low temp is 33 deg F for now. All fall they have been saying a colder and snowier winter than normal. Now they are saying a warmer than normal winter. I wish they would make up my mind!

Our temps have been pretty seasonal for the last couple of weeks but this fall has been extremely dry...just as predicted.
They say our winter will be warmer than normal but wetter. I have lived with warmer than normal all year long for the last several years, I just want the wetter than normal part to come true.

36 degrees here at the moment and we had a little snow earlier. However the temperature is beginning to fall now that it's getting dark and more snow is forecast.

we've been above normal with one snowstorm but no accumulation. it's in the upper 20's at night the last 2 nights, and barely 40F during the day. very unusual for us.

Well we woke to snow this morning - unheard off for Essex in November! Glad to say is passed and then heavy rain set in for a couple of hours - real heavy, but now that has passed and the sun is shining. Talk about 4 seasons in one day.

It has been unseasonably cold here in vermont as well. At night we approach 0! the past 3 days we have had a dusting of snow. Yesterday it was cold and windy. It felt like the end of January! I am not ready for this!

I see that rain is in the forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I know it must be our fault because we have so much to get done and we will load the truck on Friday. If we have just a short number of days to do things then it will definitely rain on most of them. Good thing the temps will be in the 60's so at least it won't snow on us. dooley
