Welcome to Ohio, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change! Saturday it was sunny and 62 deg.F This morning, it is 32 with snow flurries! I finished the firewood just in time!

At least you will stay warm with all that firewood. We reached a chilly 41 degrees last night.

I was comfortable going sleeveless on Friday- there was ice on the window Saturday. Dontcha love northern living? All these Louisiana people probably don't even have woodstoves, lol! Be sure your chimney is scrubbed (see my latest blog entry)

Ian and I sat outside in a cafe today enjoying a coffee. Now that's usually unheard of in October here in Scotland. Rain forecast for tomorrow and some fog but still no signs of frost.

LOL, lil sis, 70 is a tad on the chilly side, I admit. Today is great tho for working in the garden, but not for lounging on the beach.
Capn, good thing you got all that firewood and no, we don't have a woodstove. Some of us have fireplaces, but more for decoration. We do build fires, but not much for keeping warm.

For tonight they are saying a low of around 26 for us. That should end the few hardy floers that are still boomong outside. This is very unusual weather for us for late Oct. It' more like late Nov.

They tell us we will be most cool tonight as well. Maybe even frost. Do I cover all those zinnias?

They now tell us 38 tonight. I watered the beds well and they are mulched up to their ears.
