It looks as though Bubba is saying "Shhhhhhhh" in the first pic Sharon. Keep posting piccies like these as I love seeing them. :-D
Bubba is quite the character. He was abandoned by his feral mother at 2 weeks of age. We raised the litter of 3 on Tiny Tiger, a mother's replacement milk. His sister now lives in Houston, Tx. His brother, unfortunatly disappeared from the yard at about 6 months of age. For 2 years we could barely touch Bubba, although he was hand reared. He would bite us. But we never gave up on him. Now he sleeps curled around your head or strecthed out on you back or side, or cuddled up in your arms. We love him very much.
How funny the first picture is. He looks like a real sweet kitty. Bubba is a good name for a Big southern kitty. They definately make it easy to love them huh?
Toni, he weighs about 20 lbs, you definitely know when he is in you lap. Jan, does Ursula not like cats? Thanks Bailey and everyone else, he is a special cat. Check out some of my other babies on the pet forum and on petfighter.
I'll be sure and go check out petfighter, I've seen it mentioned a few times already so it must be a good place too.
Sharon, Ursula just loves kitties; for breakfast, lunch or dinner. She has a high prey instinct and can catch anything she chases. She has caught squirrels, the possum, of course, who played possum and puzzled Ursula until she walked away. So did the possum, raccoons. if it moves, she will catch and kill. But she will let toddlers crawl all over her and never hurt anyone.
What a way to relax. We haven't had a cat in years either, pondlady. Sometimes the gentlest of dogs just love to kill things. I see mine throwing his paw out on the ground and he is killing Ants! I'm always scolding him for trying to bite bees right off the flowers.
