Instead of a long drawn out post like I normaly do let's try this:
Calla lillies, lillies, Hyacinth, tulips, daffodills and carnations
All planted last year, varies varieties.
    A) All plants in containers
    B) I have no experience nor clue about anything I am about to ask.
#1 Do I need to even think about seperating bulbs this year?
#2 Growth on stems of lillies, look like small bulbs, have small roots. What are they and do I need to do anything with them?
#3 When do I need to fertilize for the first time this year?
#4 Carnations started from seed last year, still have lots of green growth, when do or I or do I even need to remove last years growth?
#5 When do I need to consider thinning the tubers out to make room. There are a LOT of plants in there.

I want to thank all of you that respond. Your help with my vegetables last year led to my best year and my experiences from last year should give me a huge bounty this year. I couldn't have done it on my own and been as succesful nor as prepared as I have gotten from everyone on here. I suspect I will have tons of great advice for my wifes flowers and hopefully they will thrive and fill the area with tons of flowers for all to enjoy.
