hi guys. need urgent answer!!! i live in a not-so-freeze-free area. we can get lots of snow and everything freezes for months. from december to march sometimes. i got some lilies in the ground and also some i had in pots and dug them out. they also grew smaller bulbs. wondering what would be the best way to store them. in the fridge? leave them in the ground (will they freeze and die?) in my parents cellar where they keep wine and potatoes and other veggies? just in the room somewhere? i am hoping someone can give me some answers easy to follow. i am quite confused with the answers i get on google. Calin, that depends on the type of lilies and bulbs you have. I've got lots of bulbs, crocus, snowdrops, lilies, tulips, crocosmia, fritillaria and more, and they are frost tolerant. We get frost down to 10 deg C. As for georgina, they have to come up here. I store them where the potatoes used to be at the time we bought sacks of them for winter. It's frost free and dark. Liliy bulbs have survived well in pots here, too.
