Kevin was at a township meeting in a neighboring township last night and on an officers desk was a bumper sticker that read "HONK IF YOU LOVE JESUS. TEXT AND DRIVE IF YOU WANT TO MEET HIM."
I want two of those bumper stickers! Actually, I'd like a whole batch of them to hand out. I know several folks who are in imminent danger of meeting their maker of they don't put down those cell phones!
Carolyn---That is a good one. Texting can be very dangerous even when walking. On the news the other day we heard that in England they have passed a NO texting while walking ordinance. I seems that people where getting hurt because they where walking into walls, falling off of piers, and into fountains, ect. Cell phones might have to put warning labels on them that say's that "Texting maybe hazardous to ones health". What next. Maybe a hat that you could wear that has mirrors in it so you can see where your going when you are looking down at your phone. Id like to see that one.
I don't text very often but even just dialing a phone number is very difficult while walking let along driving. I have trouble working my cell phone just in a sitting position. Barb in Pa.
