Went to exercise at 6:30 am, rushed home to change clothing to go to a Veterans Day program at the Middle School. Got home about 11:30 and gulped down a sandwich. Started putting the snow blower on the small tractor. Finished that up and came into the house about 3 pm. Started throwing dinner together. I am pooped! The program at school was really nice. They have an exchange administrator from the UK that is here for 6 weeks. He is at a school in Wales. A very interesting speaker. The priciple from here will go to vist his school for 6 weeks after the 1st of the year. She seemed very excited to be going over there.

My cold is just about gone, have a few sniffles yet. I have more Veterans programs to go to today. The local community has raised funds (about $100,00) for a Veterans Memorial to go on the grounds of the County Courthouse. The groundbreaking ceremony is this morning at 11 am. I will be in there for that to get pics for the Legion History Book. Then at 7 this evening the Legion is having it's annual Veterans Day dinner. My wife and I both will be going to that. Oh by the way, The dedication ceremony for the Memorial will be Memorial Day 2007.

What a busy Capt. Would you like to have been the one visiting Wales? You would see some beautiful Welsh countryside :)

Will the pics you take be up on the website you gave us Capt?

Too bad you didn't have nice weather for it Capt although there does look like there was a great turn out. I really like the proposed monument.
