The Mulberry tree certainly seems to be a favourite with the wildlife in your area CK.

If I get a mulberry tree, will I also get the turkeys?

If you don't have wild turkeys around you, NO! And you won't get the racoons either which you should be thankful for. But if you do get a mulberry tree, you wil end up with a thousand. The birds are very prolific in spreading the seeds around, and almost every seed germinates!

He's back out there under the tree this morning. He is definately limping, so ha has injured himself at some point. My front yard is getting to be a hospital ward for animals. Limping deer and turkeys and squirrels that need to be in a psych ward!
