I always so enjoy looking at the books you make on Smilebox Gail. The music adds to the pleasure as the pages are turned. :-D

Just wonderful, Gail. I really like your Smilebox presentations. These fotos of your garden look very colourful and yet cozy. You have done such great work this year.
You have a little bit of everything, it seems.
I shall have to have another look.

Wonderful! What are you feeding those butterflies to get them to sit still for you to take their photos? Really nice collection of pictures!

Thanks for checking out my smilebox Eileen, Sjoerd, Stratsmom, Jerry & Cheryl. Jewell, they seem to like my phlox & zinnias the best but I have pentas, salvias, rue, dill butterfly bushes, verbena & butterfly weed to entice them. They also like the petunias & impatiens. Sjoerd, this year I did plant more varieties of plants to attract the birds &the bees and the butterflies. :D

Hi Gail--I am so delighted that you planted extra for the flying insects and birds. That is so thoughtful....and NECESSARY for them. It's a win-win sit, isn't it? they profit from the plants and so does your eyes and ours when you post). :D
I find your garden such a grand place to look at.

BTW--are you guys still baby-sitting that dog of your daughter's? It must be getting pretty grown-up now. I sometimes think how uncomfortable I would feel with such a lovely garden as yours--I would forever be keeping an eye out for it digging in beds or lolling-about and rolling in a bed. hahaha. Oh dear, I can be such a worry-wort sometimes. hahaha.
