    We've got an Admiral like yours here now! :D The blooms are lovely and those winged beauties are like little jewels.

    The zinnias are volunteers. Seeded themselves from last year. When I was growing up, we had great fun waiting for them to bloom to see what kind of cross-pollination we got. Some gorgeous stuff, if you ask me.

    The penstemon (red foxglove-looking) is supposed to attract hummingbirds, so I added them last year to go w/ the black & blue salvia. The hummers still go for the salvia over the penstemon, but I have seen them in the penstemon too. It's just that they spend more time at & fight over the salvia.

    Gorgeous blooms and butterflies, WTD. Looks like spring instead of almost fall!
