I had a nice time photographing this butterfly...he was kind of a challenge because he kept moving in a circle on the butterfly bush and from flower to flower on it.. Look closely at the wings to see how torn they are.
Beautiful specimen, Sherry. He relly does seem attracted to the buddleia.--which is most lovely as well.
oops, so we missed that one, yellow swallowtail, does match though. I think my sister named it Sherry, your Butterfly is just wonderful. You took such great pictures.
When we were sitting out with Chance this morning we watched one just like it flitting around the yard. It was huge. I didn't even get up and get the camera because I never get butterflies to stay still long enough for me to take it's picture. dooley
