Maybe I should have said guardian? It’s pretty aggressive towards other butterfly’s though. This swallowtail is usually keeping all intruder butterflies at bay. Today it was enjoying the phlox nectar.
Not only is the butterfly a nice shot but the pink flowered phlox is very pretty. Your garden is always so beautiful… You've got green skills and thumbs… and great planting combos . The way you put together the flower beds is amazing.
