The weather has been hot and humid but that didn't stop the butterflys and dragonflys....

Gorgeous photos. If I had known that butterflies (and hummingbirds) loved coneflowers so much, I'd have planted more!

They're so pretty. I'm looking forward to seeing the admirals. They haven't arrived yet. We don't have any swallowtails, unfortunately.

My Red Admirals haven't arrived yet either but they should be coming soon. Thanks for sharing your little beauties with us Sherry.

I am happy to share my garden beauties with everyone. My admirals just came in the last week so keep your eyes open. The sulphurs were first in order, then the Monarch, red admirals and the swallowtails

What a joy to see those butterflies, Sherry...the cone flowers are pretty nice-looking too, I must say.
I had been wondering when you would post something from your garden. These are so nice to see. Thanks.

Lovely photos Sherry. I have not had as many butterflies this year. They are just starting to become more prolific. Lots of bees and hummingbird moths.

gfreiherr...I think everyones weather has played an important role in what is happening in your gardens this year. My butterflys seem to be very fast and hard to get them to pose for their pictures this year...
