Calla Lilies do not like wet feet..meaning constantly wet soil. Are you talking about a pond area or a place with very slow drainage after rains?
I have a boggy spot in my yard that stays wet, except during the severe droughts. I have Louisiana irises and canna lilies in it so far. I plan on adding more plants this spring and fall. I found this site with a list of plants for bog gardens. I would research any of the plants that you decide on to make sure they are suitable for your location. I hope this helps: http://www.plantideas.com/bog/ Welcome to Garden Stew. Oops, I forgot to add, I have a very beautiful blue calico cat named Rosebud:
