Big storm started here today. This morning wasn't bad however by noon the first few snowflakes were coming down then they were coming sideways and now we have high winds and lots of snow.

I can almost feel these guys on the back deck shiver .....

This doesn't show as bad as it should but this is the view midday out back. The white blobs are snow and it is getting COLD!

We just got our first snow today. Am just south of you a few hours. Don’t you just love the semps and sedums. Tough little plants.

This was this morning however it has snowed ALL day so this level of snow can easily be double AND it is going to continue to snow all night tonight.

The snow should actually help insulate the plants from the cold. But I guess that is more true if the plants are in the ground. I take it that what you have on your deck can withstand low temps?
