Can anyone identify this plant please

    This is a non flowering indoor plant

    It grows really well and will readilly root from cuttings, it likes water. It cascades out the pot and the branches always remount when they get near the floor The leaves are shiny about 10cm accross, and it is easilly broken.

    swedish ivy is what I know that as. plectranthus australis

    Needs some direct sun to bloom. Where I am, blooming happens in late summer through fall. Pics of blooms in the database entry I linked.

    Looks like a Swedish Ivy, Plectranthus verticillatus. There may be more varieties. It is on the plants database.

    Thanks, I think you are right, our ones have never flowered though, we have always grown them indoors out of direct sunlight. I will try putting one in a sunnier place and see if it flowers

    Plectranthus australis has pink flowers according to google, it seems there are many varieties of Swedish ivy.

    We called it moneda, or planta del dinero, when we lived in Spain.
