I've planted my hyacinth outisde for not so long ago. and I'm wondering, can the bulb survive the winter cold? Or do i have to dig it up and replant it inside?

    Hello again Hyacinth.

I have hyacinth bulbs which were planted many years ago in the garden. They have survived our Scottish wnters without a problem and come back year after year.

The only thing I will say is that the bulbs must be planted quite deeply to ensure that any frosts you get won't affect their growth.

I have had one planted for about 8 or 9 years now and it does well over the winter. Wannabe

I had them planted at our previous home for probably twenty years and they came back every spring. They are one of my husbands favorites so are always planted where he can see them as soon as they blossom.
