I'm a newbie to this forum, and I hope this isn't inappropriate, but I just got news that our elder daughter, who lives in England, has been in the hospital. Last week, she started to feel numb on the right side of her face, and it spread to the entire right side of her body. It's since returned to feeling, though she gets occasional numbness in her face still. The doctors don't yet know what's causing it, but there is a lump on her neck that could be the source. With everything else that's going on, I'm ready for a new year.
Sorry to hear about your daughters health concerns. Sending healing energies and thoughts her way. I certainly hope your year will turn around for the better soon. :-D
So sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope the doctors can find the cause of the problem. Sending good and healing wishes to you and your daughter.
I hope the cause of your daughters illness can be found soon as it's such a worry not knowing exactly what's wrong. Will the doctors be taking a sample from the lump and testing it to see what it is? I hope it's nothing serious and that your daughter will soon be 100% fit and healthy again. Do let us know how she's doing won't you?
I'll keep you posted. If I haven't heard anything by Friday, I'm going to call again. They want to do an mri before they aspirate it, I think.
So sorry about your daughter, BModel. I hope everything will be fine and the year will be a good one in the end.
Update I got more information from our daughter this morning. The doctors are now leaning towards it being a viral infection, but they're still going to do the mri as a precaution. Hopefully, that's what it is, and it's easily treated.
I'm so sorry to hear of your daughters illness.I'm sending prayers and good wishes her way.Let us hear how her tests come out.
I'm so sorry about your daughters situation, hope that everything will work out fine for her soon... take care~
I hope she is soon on her way to recovery, I know how you feel as my daughter was rushed into A&E a couple of weeks ago, and they did test after test it was frightning not knowing what was happening, but ended happily as the cause was an infection , but it took a while before they were able to identify it, she is now much better and I hope your daughter will be too.she will be in good hands with our doctors and nurses.
