    Nope not referring to the marrow family, but the Lagenaria siceraria species like the Birdhouse Gourd, Bushel Gourd, etc. ;)

    look also quite similar to those momordica charantia seeds i used to have, not anymore.
    called bitter melon, or something?
    i just remembered i saw such seeds up-and-close!

    What size are the seeds Jack ? It's rather hard to tell from your photographs. They look as though they're some kind of dried fruit perhaps. :-?

    Plant originating in Central America. It is cultivated there up to 2000 m of altitude. Also called "magic vegetable" :-D
