Yes I can. Next question. ;)

They are caterpillars of the Cloudless Sulphur butterfly.

Colorful it is, I wonder what it eats?

Maybe it eats a plant with yellow flowers!

    Thanks Toni. You're awesome!

There's always some "Cloudlesses" fluttering about. Since they are practically all yellow, I never imagined this would be them in caterpillar stage.
    Wow!
And just a side note... my "good brother" was here yesterday and saw all the Gulf Fritillary Caterpillars on the Passion flower and went to flick them off , but Hubby stopped him... "Those are Cheryl's butterflies!"
He thought they were those evil worms that have been attacking the pecan trees.
    Score one for Hubby!

Hmm, wow. I think in this case I have to say the C-pillar looks better than the B-fly.

I am puzzled, I have a Cercis tree and something's been nibbling on each leaf. Big round bites off each leaf. I never had the patience to actually stand by it all day and look for the culprit.

Must be a caterpillar or more! When do these eat? Morning? Evening?

Calin... sorry I can't answer about their eating habits. I just planted the Cassia this spring so I really haven't had a chance to watch the Cloudless. I do agree.... much prettier as a caterpillar! :)
