Picked the urn up at a thrift store several years ago and finally figured out what to do with it. Took a styrofoam ball, filled the urn with rocks for stability, jazzed it up with outdoor paint and glued them together.

This star was made as a candle holder but almost nothing in my house is used as it was initially intended to be used. I painted it with metallic white paint and again outdoor paint on the styrofoam ball.

We had to replace the over the sink light fixture in the kitchen. Too cool to throw away so I used gold metallic paint on the base and made a sorta creepy looking sunflower on it. The ends of the petals almost look like fingers

I have a lot more things to work on, so I guess this summer heat is good for something.

I think so too. Your imagination and creativity is inspiring. :D I wanted to ask you for some of your heat, but when I see what you do when it's hot I won't.

Not a problem, copy away. ;) If I could go back in time I would probably find photos somewhere that gave me some of the ideas in the first place.
