Picked the urn up at a thrift store several years ago and finally figured out what to do with it. Took a styrofoam ball, filled the urn with rocks for stability, jazzed it up with outdoor paint and glued them together. Garden decor ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden ) This star was made as a candle holder but almost nothing in my house is used as it was initially intended to be used. I painted it with metallic white paint and again outdoor paint on the styrofoam ball. More Garden decor ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden ) We had to replace the over the sink light fixture in the kitchen. Too cool to throw away so I used gold metallic paint on the base and made a sorta creepy looking sunflower on it. The ends of the petals almost look like fingers Garden decor also ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden ) bird's eye view ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden ) I have a lot more things to work on, so I guess this summer heat is good for something.
I think so too. Your imagination and creativity is inspiring. I wanted to ask you for some of your heat, but when I see what you do when it's hot I won't.
Now that's what I call a great way to spend hot weather. Love those garden ornaments your making Toni and look forward to seeing them in situ soon.
Where will you place them in the garden.I bet they show up great. I will be glad to see what else you come up with your other finds.
very nice, I just might have to do more creating next year as I'm scheduled for some knee surgery that will keep me recovering for 2 to 3 months
nice stuff I like all your crafts, you did a good job! Keep up the good work. I love to see others stuff helps give me ideas. Hope ya don't mind a copier, cause I like to copy! Neat ideas, love the sun with blue ball!
Not a problem, copy away. If I could go back in time I would probably find photos somewhere that gave me some of the ideas in the first place.
