Cantaloupe

    I was watering some eggplant in the wheelbarrow with rinse water from the dishes. There was a few stray cantaloupe seeds from one we bought at the flea market in the water. Of course, they grew and now have outgrown the eggplant. A couple of them have flowers. I hope the ants don't find them up in that wheelbarrow. dooley

    Nothing tastes better than a fresh melon from the garden! I have to beat the mice to the melons here.

    ummmm cantaloupes, I sure hope they grow into really sweet ones.

    What a great surprise! I bet you could keep the bugs out with a little tanglefoot or something, brushed around the bits of the wheelbarrow that would give the critters access
