I don't know if these cardinals are saying "good morning" or wanting their breakfast or water so they can have a bath. Every morning when I open the door they arrive to peek in the door. There are several different ones. I took these pictures from about 10 feet away because if I moved closer they flew away. So, some are a bit blurry.

I hope you can see them okay. I do enjoy sitting here watching them and wondering just what it is they want from me. Every day I refill the feeders and water tubs. Yesterday I bought two new large hummingbird feeders because I would fill the small ones each morning and they would be empty by noon. There must be 15 or 20 out there. Migration, maybe. They don't sit still for a picture and I couldn't get close enough that they showed up in a picture.

They certainly have you trained well. :D
I've only had a couple of hummers this year.... they are around the feeders and flowers all day.

Today, we bought four more hummingbird feeders and hung them on all the fence posts. There are eight of them now but there must be more than 50 birds fighting for a turn now. It's migration time.

WOW 50 hummingbirds!! What I wouldn't give to see just one in the wild. Sadly though I doubt if I ever will - at least not here in Scotland anyway.

Ive only got 2 hummers, a male and female. I would love to see 50 at once! I love how my 2 will sometimes chase each other around and hover near each other. So pretty :)

I actually got a Goldfinch on my seed feeder yesterday, I was tickled! :D
