Hello everyone. Last year I ordered castor oil seeds that I forgot about and I found them lately. I bought them on: I heard that there are different kinds fo castor oils but this one is the one that I have and I don't know what to do with it. To be honest, I don't know anything about this plant..So could you tell me when to plant it, what conditions should I require it and also is it poisonous? I read in the Internet that it is dangerous for animals, what do you think?

We used to grow castor cast north of Montgomery in what was an 8b zone. Elephant ears and castor have some temperate connections. Mother gave us castor oil by tablespoon dose in the 1970s. It is also used for the ricin nerve agent used by terrorists. Personally I think cleaning people out is its best usage.
