Could it be the Gonepteryx rhamni? It is a smallish yellow butterfly about the size of a Cabbage White. I reckon that there must be tens if not hundreds of green caterpillars, so I do not really know which one this would be with certainty; however, I have seen similar larvae here on my plants.
