Here they are stealing seeds again...the little cuties! they love the liatris and I think I will plant more next year...just for them. Of course I might have them coming up all over with the help of them spreading them.

    [IMG]Here he looks pretty innocent....

    [IMG]Almost there....

    [IMG]Caught Him!!

[IMG]Seems to still be enjoying the seeds...

[IMG]Here he is saying, WHO ME? caught him though with a seed in his mouth...

[IMG]Here he is again, going to start all over again!

I love watching these beauties around my patio...

Great shots! Darn it...I just cut off my Liatris seed heads! I wish I had known how much the Goldfinches love them!

Netty...this fall, I have not cut down all the stems like I usually do and I notice more birds closer to the house. It sure isn't because I don't offer enough seed at the feeders. I am debating if I should leave them up all winter or not...it will then make more work for me in the spring and stepping on my tulips in the front beds....Sherry

Sherry, I leave my liatris heads on all winter. The chickadees are all over them even through the snow. I've never noticed goldfinches on them though. Those are lovely pics.
