I know deer can be destructive to the garden, but they sure are pretty and it must be very neat to see them nearby. Good catch. YOu must have had the camera in your hand!

One almost ran into my truck on the way home from work today. Something must have spooked it, and I'm sure glad I saw it and could slow down.

Good thing you had your camera with you!
I love seeing wildlife all around except in my gardens. Last winter, 3 deer came into our yard and ate almost all of our Aubretia that spilled over the rocks in one of our gardens. I sure miss seeing the white, purple and pink Aubretias.

Your comment made me chuckle, bsewnsew! :stew2:

hmm....maybe I should leave my old broken-down camera outside in plain view of the deer. They might stay away from my gardens. Wouldn't that be wonderful! :)

Beautiful picture and great shot of her.

DB - I think Glenda sleeps with her camera. She is always ready!! And we are so glad she is.

They are beautiful to watch, Glenda. I hope she didn't eat all your garden.

Bsewn's little ditty made me laugh too. So did the whole idea of leaving the camera out to keep the deer away! Ha!

We get deer quite a bit, but they go after the crab apples that fall. Developers though have eliminated most of the trees behind us, so now we have coyotes which seems to keep the deer away. :( Doggon' rabbits are eating my violas though! :-x
