I took this picture of Chance today. She really doesn't like this wet rainy weather.

Awwww she's definately not her usual cheerful self is she? It can't be much fun for poor little Chance having to do her security patrols in the rain. :(

Aww, poor Chance. My dog hates wet weather too - she hates to get her feet wet and dirty!

Chance does look sad...as if she is saying 'when will the rain stop'. Lexi doesn't like wet weather either. She really has to poop in order for her to go out and get her feet wet. Then I have to tell her that 'I will get the towel and dry your feet'. When we come in she stands near the door waiting for the towel drying ;) Animals are so knowing and smart :stew2:

He must be a Packer fan, and hasn't gotten over the Giants game yet.

Is she part bassett? Unfortunately, my two dogs don't mind the rain...or snow, or mud. And with all the sand we have around here it makes for a messy kitchen floor. Give her a cookie to make her smile again!

I'm still in mourning over the Packer loss last weekend here, Cal...Boo Hoo

Chance is half corgi and half springer spaniel. She gets lots of cookies. That's why she doesn't fit through the doggie door very well now, only when she wants to go out herself. If I want her to go out, I have to open the door. dooley

I've always been a bit leary of doggie doors for fear that they'd let critters inside. They aren't used much around here anyway, because of the winters I think. Don't you worry about black widow spiders or snakes sneaking inside? With my 150 pound Newfoundland, I'd need a pretty big doggie door, and we'd have to worry about bears getting in!!!

Not people cookies, doggie cookies. She likes the peanut butter flavored ones the best. She likes apples and oranges and almost any fruit. Except we don't give her grapes and raisens The vet said the other and most vegetables are okay. We have a list of stuff not to give her.
Our doggie door isn't too big. A cat wouldn't have a chance? if it got in the door. Our yard is double fenced and the little yard is armor plated against skunks. I don't think much is coming through the doggie door. If we weren't fenced I would maybe worry about it. dooley

Sorry, I didnt know doggies had their own cookies.
We feed our doggie one time a day, and the bugger is fat also........
We almost killed ours with milk.. My husband fed it.
It was having trouble for days going to the bathroom.. So I decieded to help.
I got the box of exlax and we fed him 2..........
    It worked.........
He was very down and dull looking at that time.

    thanks for the info.
