I managed to get some photos of the Water Hen's chicks, just arrived home from a wedding with my camera in my hand, they were visiting the duck shed for a snack and by the time I had the lens cover off the had nearly reached the river. How cute, do you have any idea how old they are. They look pretty big, maybe almost ready to be on their own?
Ducks are so cute. I used to have a family of ducks live outside my house. They used to knock on my window each morning to let me know they were there. One of them was injured so i took care of them. But then i moved out of town and didn't see them again.
