Ok, I know that all of you have heard the proverbial question about; Why did the chicken cross the road? Well, what do you call a chicken that crosses the road, rolls around in the dirt, and then crosses the road again?
He wanted to spread the dirt around. He didn't like the dirt on the other side He could get dirtier on the other side After he got over to the other side it was time for supper, he crossed back He was confused and dirty so he went home to take a bath He wanted to be dirty He didn't like being dirty, racked with guilt he crossed a second time hoping to be run over by a mack truck and be put out of his misery Crossing twice was double the fun especially if he got dirty He was a double crosser, a dirty double crosser Getting dirty was an excuse to get home If he crossed three times he would be out Jerry
... Purpose of 'chicken crossing road': To give those who would spend their time psychoanalyzing a chicken's motives something else to talk about..
I asked the ladies in the coop, and they responded that they had no idea why a chicken would cross the road when any chicken worth her salt would get a human to back out the pick-up truck; put her in the passenger seat; convey her across the road; wait until she had rolled in the dirt; then take her back home.
Jane, I could just see you doing that with your chickens. You have them eating out of your hand. They all come running when they see you coming. lol dooley
You guy's are way to funny. Jerry you almost hit it on the head with one of your quotes. You would call that chicken a--Dirty double crosser. Dooley I think it's more like Janes chickens have her eating out of their hands. I mean if chickens could have hands.
