It seems that Maurice the rooster in France is the subject of a lawsuit. Here is a link to the news article:https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...-against-locals-in-rural-france-idUSKCN1VL0M1 I'm all on Maurice's side of the argument. If you want to live in the country, you should be up at 4:30 a.m., and willing to sing along with Maurice for a couple of hours. Go Maurice!
Maurice was there first so why don't his neighbours just install double glazing? Then Maurice could crow each day to his hearts content.
Oh that is ridiculous! Why would you buy a home in the country if you didn't want to hear country noises?
Thats what country is,, roosters crowing, chickens cackling and cows mooing ! What did they think they would get,, Beethoven,, Brahms and Handel ?
When my mother-in-law would come to visit us she would initially have trouble sleeping because of all the noises of frogs calling (spring peepers) or cicadas chirping (summer). When we would visit her in Miami, we would initially have trouble sleeping because of all the traffic noises, ambulances, the car mechanics doing work next door, etc!
