Made another couple dozen of the Macaroon Kisses cookies. This time I let them bake just a tad bit longer than recommended and do believe they came out just about perfect. Macaroon Kisses ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) For Thanksgiving, I made "regular" pecan pies. But when they were gone, I did an online search for something I bit different and found a recipe for Coconut Pecan Pie. It was a big hit... tastes almost just like the filling/icing on a German Chocolate cake. So I made another one today. Goodness Cheryl, Dooley is making Stollens and you are baking mouthwatering pies. I am putting on weight just by looking, much less eat anything. I think I have to turn off the computer before I'm stuffed. Have a very Merry Christmas, Jerry P.S. I think I hear a noise from the chimney.
OK plan B!! After tasting all of Dooley's treats I'm coming to your house!! Everything looks delicious and I'll bet they won't last long. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
dr says those macaroon kisses are his kind of cookie. I guess I'll have to look up a recipe for them. He would like the pecan pie, too. I have a big bag of coconut but no pecans. I guess it will have to be macaroon kisses. I think I made enough cookies to last us awhile but yours look sooooo good. I'm not even supposed to be eating a lot of cookies and baked goods but I make an exception at Christmas and try everything. Thanks for the pictures! I hope I didn't ruin them by drooling all over them. dooley
My mom makes good macaroons, Ill have to share these with her! Oh my goodness I can taste em...(or is that all the other chocolates Ive been eating all day? )
