I was fascinated to see that our bees have learnt how to get to the nectar in our new aquilegias...Ingenious or what? :p

The flowers are unaffected and as beautiful as ever.

Hahaha....yes, I've been watching the bees here do the same. I noticed that the bumblebees made the holes for their own use, but honeybees would use their holes when the bumblebees were away from the flowers.

Bees sure are inventive, aren't they.
