Whilst watching my recordings of the Australian Open Tennis on TV yesterday afternoon, I was swopping channels when I noticed this. I know for years, that ski resorts have been "manufacturing" snow for ski jumps and downhill competitions. But the absence of snow in the surrounding countryside and mountains was quite noticeable and we're only in January. > ">
