Ive been pouring my cold coffee out in my plants for years ,mainly cause its liquid for them, and here i find this about one woman knowledge with coffee.

    Beautiful Geraniums
Try watering your geraniums with some leftover coffee. My mother passed this hint along to me, and I've found that it makes a very noticeable difference within a few days. About a half cup of coffee at the base of the plant produced larger, glossier, greener leaves and sturdier stalks within a week, and blooms within ten days. I've been giving my plants a dose of coffee about once a week, and I'm very happy with the results.

Coffee is acidic so it may benefit your acid-loving plants. I would just add some a little leftover coffee (no milk, sugar) into your watering can and try it out. Be careful not to over-coffee though or you may just fry your plants

    coffee

I have used left over coffee on the plants that were growing on my balcony. I only did this once a season, the grounds also worked as a mulch on the container plants. If you use too much the soil will become acidic.

I use coffee to water plants where slugs are a problem as they don't like it. You can use cheap instant coffee as a ground soak to water things like potatos and carrots that are left in the ground later in the season when slug damage is most likely.

Great use for old coffee - I always use it to water my plants too. So far they love it, really wakes them up in the morning and all that vibrating they do shakes off all the bugs. It's only when they take to jumping up and down and crawling around the yard by the roots that we ease off on it and switch to decaf.

    ;-)
