It only got up to 40 deg. F today with a slow drizzle all day. The only good think was that the wind wasn't blowing. So, to ward off the wet chill, I made a big pot of beef and noodles. I use beef broth to cook the noodles and then used a can of canned beef. It really hit the spot! The noodles had soaked up all of the broth and gave them a really rich taste. Couldn't use a spoon to eat it as it was too thick. Had to use a fork.

    Your noodles sound delicious CK.

You may not have any wind where you are but it's found its way here again. :( We have gales blowing outside and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we have no more damage to the fences or roof.

We're cold. The temperature is at 33 degrees, and there is a 20-30 mph wind blowing. I can't get the cat off the bed, and my hens are all fluffed up. I gave them a warm breakfast, but they still are looking askance at me--the cold is my fault in their little minds.
