This is Bob, the horse in my avatar. He was an amazingly beautiful baby and so sturdy. He was not all sunk-in looking like a normal foal.

I got the date wrong. He's an August babe.

Muddy I see what you mean - he looks like a perfect little horse even at only two days old. Thanks for letting us see Bob when he was just a baby.

Oh how absolutely wonderful. I have always loved horses, but have limited experience with them. I would have loved to have been around them more. If I can ever afford it I want a miniature horse.

I rode horses at a young age up until
I was married and I've seen very few horses that even come close to Bob he is a beautiful horse in every way. At my age I wouldn't try to ride one but I always love to take off on one to ride with friends all weekend.
We had a mare after Johnny and I married named Ginger she was a small horse and the kids rode her .She had a colt we call Cinnamon .We never could tame Cinnamon .Gave him away and Ginger was shot and kill we never knew who did it.

Now who couldn't think that was cute :rosy: Thanks for letting us see the famous Muddy at his most adorable. He looks so delicate and strong at the same time.

    :D I love the titles.

I love baby pictures of any kind and especially the ones of Bob.

I haven't ridden much but have loved it when I did.

Jan, in the avatar pic Bob was playing with Ron and the leaf blower. He is a funny boy. He insists on getting a drink from the hose if you have it out and he tries to steal the neighbor's hat when he's on the riding mower. Whenever we are working on a project tools go missing. Then we look around and there he is in the middle of the pasture just watching to see if we notice what he's got in his mouth.
Glenda, what is the matter with a person that just wants to kill something
or harm it? I can't imagine what I would do if that happened to me.

Does Bob, perhaps, think he is very large dog? Does he return the tools after he has borrowed them?

Bob does come when called just like a dog. He sees people and he comes running. He also is stubborn and arrogant but that is part of what makes him such and interesting character. I did finally get him to quit nipping people. He thought that was a GREAT game.

Great character, certainly fits with the avatar pic! The only horses I've ever known were either skittish racehorses or the ones my daughter rode for therapy- those were not allowed to have personalities poor things!

I have never gotten on a horse that I did not fall off except one in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park with a guide. She was broad enough in the beam for an entire girl scout troop to camp overnight. I have a picture somewhere. I shall look for it. Of course, it shows my best end
