This is always my last daffodil of the year. "Twins" and I do have a twin sister.

My columbines are a mix. Columbines really cross-pollinate.

    Grannys bonnet.

Don you have some lovely columbines there. The Granny's Bonnet one is my favourite with its white and purple flowers. I've just planted seeds of some pure white ones and I'm hoping they'll be sprouting soon for me.

I just planted my first Columbines this year. So far, they are doing okay. I'm just afraid that when the temps reach the 100F degree marks... they will wither.
But since they are in a sort of shady area... there's still a chance. I guess time will tell. :stew2:
Oh yeah... your's are really beautiful!

Great pix Don! The name of the Daffodils are 'twins'? The local bees should get busy, all my Columbines are purple and white.

Yup, that's the last daff to bloom here. But it's fragrant!

I've always loved columbines... so many kinds!

Does your daffodil flower in May? I noticed that there is more than one flower on a stem.
