This morning I harvested 2 plants of Curly Brassica from our very first batch of veggies in our very first bed in our new abode. I am not sure exactly what this veggie is but the name on the seed package is Curly Brassica and this is our favourite.

Becky had it prepared for lunch and we all enjoyed it ... yum yum!!!

It was a simple dish, stir fried in pork lard with eggs and bacon chips.

    Bon Appétit :-D

Hmmmmm, Kale or Curly Kale, sounds interesting with the eggs, bacon and lard....I might get Randy to be willing to try it prepared that way.

Glad the first produce from your new garden was so very tasty.....bodes well for the new home.

Thank you all, by now all the beds are planted and they are doing good. The cucumbers in place of the bitter gourd had also germinated.

Toni it is really delicious and make sure the bacon is fried to a crisp ... yum! :)

Thanks Donna it was very fresh ... from mini-farm directly to wash into the wok and yummy!!!

    Thanks Cherylad.

Thanks Marlingardener, the next day we had the amaranth and they were delicious too!!!

Thank you very much Philip, yes I love food and it is a great joy eating especially my own labour.

Thank you Sjoerd, the flavor is fresh and sweet, the texture is tender and in simple words yum!!!
