I have 2 corkscrew vine out of the 5 seeds I started with. I got 4 to germinate but the snow we had killed 2 of them so I'm left with 2 small vine that are not growing very fast. I went to a local nursery and purchased one that is quite a bit bigger than the ones I started. Cajunbelle told me she was told if you plant them in pots they seem to do better. If mine don't start doing better I will try planting them in pots. Well here they are. It's a wonder anything grows in my gardens with Callie trampling around! She is my little shadow! In this pic you can see my smaller ones better
Hey, look at 'em go!! Those are doing great Julie. Say, if they set any seed this year, do you think I could talk you out of a few?? Maybe send you something in trade??
Zuzu of course I will share!! I just hope it makes it that far!! I will keep you informed on her progress!
Julie I sure hope those take off for you. I think they are neat looking! I've been afraid to try them out here, don't think they'd do very well Deanna :-D
Deanna they like lots of heat and humidity from what I hear. But you never know they could surprise you!! Sharon I don't like paying that much either so hopefully between the 2 of us will have lots of seeds!! Fingers crossed!
