I have three boys. Of course I can bait my hook and clean my own fish. I was a sure enough tomboy growing up. I could do all the things my brothers could do. dooley
Baiting my own hook was not a problem, at least with minnows but worms were a whole 'nuther story. When my Dad and I went fishing we never kept the fish, my Mom refused to cook them and none of us really like to eat them anyway.
Dooley you're going to find that you'll be even busier now that you've decided to give up work. I thought that I wouldn't know how to fill my time but I need more hours in the day to accomplish everything I want to do these days. Just think - fishing, quilt making, teddy bear collecting, gardening and junque collecting - to mention just a few things you'll be filling your time with. Feeling tired yet?
Being retired is so stressfull! I get up every morning and ask myself, do I go fishing> Or hunting or play golf? Decisions, decisions. I am so streesed out from them!
How exciting!! :-D :-D How did they take your notice? They probably hate to see you go. Deanna :-D P.S. Where you goin' fishin'????
This is what I wish you in retirement, Dooley. I'm going after Trout myself when we go to the mountains this weekend. I felt like the world was my oyster when I retired and still can't think what I want to do first. The garden usually wins out. Gardengater
Well, I still have a couple of weeks or so to work and then with the packing and stuff it will probably be after the first of the year before we get to fishing. We're hoping to persuade Glenda to go with us. dooley
What good news Dooley! I wish you every bit of joy on your retirement, you deserve it so much. I'd have loved to take you fishing, wood walking, mountain-sightseeing or anything else you'd like.
