I love the color of the leaves of the purple heart plant & its cute little pink blooms I also heard that an avacado makes a pretty houseplant and decided I had to find out.
Hi Bosque,..i used to have Purple Heart Plants,..they really have a deep purple colour/color and the neat little pinkish bloom. I have started an Avocado plant last summer,..its about three foot high now and i keep it in the greenhouse,..nice leaves on it,..hopefully when the weather gets warmer it can be left outside,..you should be fine with your weather.
Yes @Bosque ...I had an avocado plant that went 7 foot or more.. I kept it in the greenhouse for winter and outside in summer...Don't know whatever happened to it. I think I gave it to a woman with an atrium... And the purple heart.....Setcreasea.....very nice...you can take clippings and stick them back into the pot for fullness....
