Cousin It now has a friend.

This cypress vine has gone crazy. Under the left side is the birdhouse you see in first pic and 3 hanging baskets. There is a Carolina wren nested in the birdhouse. I guess she feels well protected. It is about 6ft. from my deck and she is driving us crazy with her very loud squawking. But we are enjoying the hummers coming in this close for the flowers.

Well....that cypress vine may have gone crazy, but it looks great.

How nice that a wren is nesting there. I find it such an unusual place for a wren to nest--so open. Well, I guess that she'll fuss, but the hummers will still come.

Somebody has a very green thumb! That vine is amazing .

 

OMG!!!! Not just the vine, but everything!! Those yellow flowers in front, bordering brick...marigolds? They just exploded too!

 

Like Ronni said. It sure has gone growing happy. The Wren must be loving the privacy from that vine.
