While walking over the bridge in the county park on Sunday, my husband looked down in the water and saw this crayfish. I could barely see it but did manage to get a picture. It is on the rock just below the leaves that were floating on the water.

Ya know in Louisiana, people eat them. I used to when I ate dead flesh and they are great.

Great picture Polly .That takes me back a few years. When I was little my mom would fix me a craw fish pole with twine and at the end a piece of thick bacon and we would go to the creek and craw fish .We ate the tails .They were very tasty.
