Started out the day with a very Colorful 5 K run in the early morning....Nashville hosted its 3rd Color Run, and a good time was had by all! I added crazy socks to my Color Run outfit from last year. They compliment the tutu well, don't you think? .........and we're off! Note to self; keep mouth closed when running through color. Some Nashville firefighters came out to cheer us on. I told them my son in California was a firefighter/paramedic. They wanted a picture for me to send to their "brother" there. I was honored! Team DanceQuest! (a few friends from my ballroom dancing studio) We rocked it!! Home for a quick shower to wash all that color off, and then on to Nashville Shores! I hadn't been to this water park since my own were young, and it was a lot of fun to re-experience it with the grandkids! And yes, I slept like a ROCK last night!
Ronni I don't know how you managed to keep going after your run!! I'd have been in a gasping heap on the floor. Good for you doing the Colour Run and then managing to go to Nashville Shores afterwards. It looks as though the whole day was filled with fun. Love the understated socks by the way.
