Hello everyone! I haven't posted in this site for a very long time, but wanted to show you just how mercurial autumn in Wisconsin can be.

Yes, my gerbera daisies were still blooming in mid-November.

The next night. The gerberas weren't so perky anymore, but my youngest son sure loved it.

:D Those photos could be taken here any time during winter, bar the Gerbera daisies. Our yo-yo-weather is one of the reasons I keep wondering why I bother to live here.

Isn't it fun to see how snow delights the children? It never ceases to amaze me.

Well it's certainly lovely to have you back as I've been wondering where you were are what you were up to. Yours photographs are great and it's good to see the children enjoying themselves so much. :stew1:

Awww, thank you so much for caring. Honestly, I've felt a bit under the weather for the last couple of months, but now seem to have turned the corner. I'm afraid I still won't be doing much gardening this spring, but I will still be reading all of the posts on here in preparation for the following year. In the meantime, I'm just propagating a different species. LOL.

Glad to hear you have "turned the corner" Julie. The first few months of pregnancy can be hard.

jakrum421...that is one of the things I like about Wisconsin. Not knowing what to expect from the weather. How about the snow last night and today...I am waiting to hear the official snowfall but it will be up close to 12 inches or more the way it is going...
    Glad to see you back...
