Well this will be a little different,,lol. But fun!! After i had my dinner on the beach, for my birthday, we went back up and the rest of the family, (their all in their 80's and one 90) was waiting patiently for us to have strawberry creme cake. After we ate, i made the comment i wish i took a pic of the cake so i could post for the Stew,,,(yes they all know about the Garden Stew,,,lol) Soooo, Aunt Hedvig said tell them nah, nah,,,nah nah,, we ate all the cake,,,(in a sing song kind of way) then stuck out her tongue. So I told them I would if everyone would let me take a pick of them like this,,,,,,

    Aunt Hedvig,,87 yrs
    [IMG]

    Kolbjørns father,,Kristian,,83 yrs
    [IMG]

    Kolbjørns step mama,,,Tullemor,,81 yrs
    [IMG]

Petra, our neighbor but is like our Aunt,,,82 yrs,,,and chickened out at the last moment,,but i got a little bit of it,,,lol

And that is Kolbjørns sister, Sigrund, in the back ground who thinks i am craziest of all them,,,,lol.
I just had to post these......

Hi crazy Norwegian family!!!! So good to see you all.

They all look so much younger than their years tell. Must be that good Arctic fresh air and foraging thru the fields for dinner and drinks....or are you the only one who does that?

Ohhh Glenndan i still got my strawberries to show when they are harvested,,,lol... poor you!!

I'm the only one who does that Toni, but Sigrund goes with me, and eats most of what i pick before i can get it back home,,lol. I just take advise from the family on where to look, since i think they have all done it.

Most of the family lives down south, south of Oslo, but they are all from up here.

How nice to introduce the family. They are a great-looking bunch in spite of their playfulness (or BECAUSE of it). I can see where you get your playfulness from.
Thanks for this great gallery posting.

What great pics Biita, I love anyone with a sense of humor. Oh, by the way, Happy Birthday, sorry I missed it. I haven't been on in a while and I'm trying to catch up...which is really hard. Thanks for sharing your family with us and oh, the cake sounded so good.

Wow, what a crazy family, but I think that you are leaving out the second half of the definition. What I see is crazy wonderful, crazy beautiful, crazy loving, and crazy understanding. How lucky you are to have so many from the generation before you, to learn from, to love and to enjoy. I wish for you a Happy birthday and may you be for the next generation what the last generation has been for you.
