When we moved here we had a huge white crepe myrtle in the corner of the barn lot that was basically an overgrown shrub. After two years of heavy pruning, and keeping it trimmed yearly, we now have a large, multi-trunked white crepe myrtle tree. Crepe myrtles are nice as shrubs, but when they are this large, they make even better trees!

I love Crepe Myrtles. We have two out in the hellstrip, planted by original owner of the house and then there are the assorted babies that the birds have planted around the neighborhood whether they were wanted there or not.
