This is Wendy's favorite, it's only about a half inch, leggs stretched and all. She looks around for it when she goes out side. Since i sent that big ugly one it only seemed right that you get to see a cute cuddly spider. Don't you wish they were all like this.
yew, we just have the normal garden spiders. Them are bad enough. I'm glad I don't have to deal with your huge ugly brown or even black spiders. I'm just not a spider person.
OK I was going to say I could almost call him cute until you told us he could jump!!! Now I don't think I'd like to find him hanging around any more than I would the big, hairy ones.
Gee, that looks a lot like the spider that was stalking me in the shower last week! I let it go out in the garden
We have some of those little tiny black jumpy ones here and I don't like them any more than any others. YUCK! You can keep them Jeffrey.
That is a cute one. I think I read that the jumpers have some of the best eyesight in the spider world. Bet that makes them a bit smarter too! Although I have not seen a jumper in a year or two, we had one spend many hours on our front porch sunning it's self. It had a bit of red on it - quite pretty.
My son had one on the corner of his garage last summer. He would catch flies for it and if he held them close the spider would come down to him on the web and take the free meal...
