Cypress vine

Cypress vine has provided an excellent source of shade this summer for my starter plants. And the humming birds love it. So between the greenhouse cover and cousin IT i have millions of seeds if anyone is interested.

That turned out well, didn't it. I can't recall if you showed us some pics of the flowers of that vine. Were they pretty?

 

Sjoerd. The flowers are very small so they don't show up in pic's well. I will try tomorrow to get pic's of them.

 

I had cypress vine at my old house. Is yours red or white ?

 

Sjoerd, The vine feels like feathers. It's very soft and fern like.

Mart, I planted only red but ended up with red & white.

 

Should be colorful with both. Cypress vine is something that will cover anything in a hurry. Everyone here calls it Mile-a-Minute vine because it grows so fast.
